Bravadžiluk 13
Daily from 8:30am to 10pm
All around town, and specially in the old neighborhood of Baščaršija, there are plenty of cevab (kebab) shops. Mrkva is a chain, with 5 outlets around Sarajevo, one of them along the pedestrian thoroughfare of Bravadžiluk. You sit down and you order your cevab with either 5, 10 or 15 little pieces of juicy kebab on the pita bread with chopped onions on the side. Have some feta cheese as well. They do not serve alcohol, but some other places do. It is a very casual place, for a quick bite during your sightseeing walk. After your meal you go to a sweet shop for some bahlava, the Turkish-like pastries.
