Dorćol

If Savamala is the bohemian neighborhood, for hard-core clubbing and heavy drinking, Dorcol is the cool one, where trendy locals go for coffee and jazz. One of Belgrade’s hippest restaurants, Homa, is in the area, as well as cafés such as Przionika and Holesterol and the Radionica bar. Dorcol (pronounce Dortjol) was the Jewish neighborhood before WW2 and a very multicultural place. However, after the war, not much was left. However, it is slowly getting back to its roots as Belgrade’s crossroads.
