Golestan Palace, in the center of Tehran, is one of the oldest sites in Iran and protected by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. It depicts many chapters and dynasties of Persia with beautiful rose gardens, fountains and intricate details everywhere. There are several palaces, exhibitions of paintings, crockery, memorabilia and so on. A stroll around the gardens and a peak here and there are more than enough for you to marvel at the richness of Iran’s history.

The Palace has a vast collection of tilework, all painted differently, full of colors!
