One of the nicest experiences I had in Sarajevo was the free walking tour led by Neno. There is just so much interesting information all over the place, from the foundations of the city, to the start of WWI, to the Siege of Sarajevo and the rebuilding of the new nation that a tour with a well informed local guide is priceless. Neno, Merima and Davor will guide you around the historic areas of the city for free. The tour lasts around 2 hours but you hardly feel it. The meeting point is at Susan Sontag Square.
