At the stylish Vida Hotel facing Burj Khalifa, this branch of Sydney’s famous Toko has been the talk of the town since opening in 2013. The menu is full of delicious contemporary Japanese dishes, the aubergines being a highlight (I love them). Can get quite busy and loud, especially on Ladies Night (Wednesdays). Try booking a table in the entrance garden if the weather permits. By the way, they have a night brunch every Tuesday, from 7 to 10pm.
