The impressive Bangkok Art & Culture Centre, in the middle of consumerism frenzy Silom, offers a respite from the hustle and bustle around. With a roster of good exhibitions and a constant presence of young Thais, you are sure to find inspiration and interesting art here. Part of it is open to the general public for free and the higher floors, hosting curated exhibitions require a ticket, but they are never expensive. The BACC also has nice shops offering great Thai design, books and art.
