The art scene in Thailand is thriving. Together with design and architecture, the country is well ahead of its neighbors in Southeast Asia. The Museum of Contemporary Art hosts mostly works by Thai artists, many of these related to religion. There is a love for large canvasses and sculptures. The collection is nice and well arranged. The museum has a shop and a café and I would recommend you group a visit to the MOCA together with the Chatuchak Weekend Market and the OrTorKor food market, also in the area. It is a 35-40 minute taxi ride from Siam area.
