I discovered Issaya Siamese club by chance well before it hit the World’s 50 Best Restaurants Asia list. I was researching Thai chef Kittichai, who had an amazing Thai restaurant in New York, and found out he also had this one in Bangkok. So I booked a table and went for dinner. Just the setting is worth the visit, with an old Thai house in a beautiful garden where you can have a drink while the sun sets. The tasting menu was delicious, with one lamb dish that impressed me because the meat was almost melting.
