Nahm is one of the World’s 50 Best Restaurants (37th at the 2016 prize). Chef David Thompson, from Australia, fell in love with the cuisine of Thailand and with his training in French culinary traditions he developed a unique way to cook Thai food. His first Nahm was in London. The story goes that once import restrictions stopped him from getting the best fresh produce from Thailand, he moved to Bangkok.
He incorporated his cooking techniques in old recipes from all parts of Thailand. Dishes are recreated with care and give customers a real gastronomic experience. You can have great Thai food in many places in Bangkok, both high and low, but an experience at Nahm is unique. Make sure you book ahead and dress smartly.
