Kneza Mihaila is Belgrade’s main shopping street, running from Republic Square all the way to Kalemegdan Fortress. With restaurants, hotels, bars, cafés and shops, this pedestrian zone will certainly be in your itinerary as it cuts the city in half, right at its center. At any given time of the day there are people strolling its blocks. From parents with prams in the morning to revellers going out to the clubs in Savamala in the evening, it is one of the city’s most democratic thoroughfares.
