Camden Passage

Camden Passage N1 8EA | Islington, North London

Shops, markets, galleries and restaurants have individual opening times

Camden Passage is a lovely backstreet a few blocks north of Angel tube station. Not to be confused with Camden Town or Camden Lock, located in the borough of Camden. The area has been a magnet for antique lovers since 1950 and there are still markets dedicated to selling crockery, paintings, coins and other memorabilia. But apart from that, the Passage itself and the side streets teem with cute boutiques, lovely cafes and interesting restaurants. My favorites are the funky The Elk in the Woods, for a coffee or maybe lunch, Pistachio & Pickle Dairy, for chutneys and cheese, and Penhaligon’s, for that grandma looking perfume.
