The City
Tehran was a great surprise! It is enormous, traffic is intense, the numbers are in Arabic format, the currency can be confusing. Don’t feel discouraged though, you will love it no matter how grim people describe it. Take the subway, concentrate on North Tehran, don’t plan too much for one day and avoid by all means the summer months. By the way, Iranians are one of the most hospitable people in the world and the food is amazing!
