Sheik Zayed Road | Downtown
The Sofitel Downtown is an excellent choice not only for its location, with great views of Burj Khalifa and a block away from the Dubai Metro station, but also because it is fairly new (opened in 2015), has very nice rooms, an amazing breakfast buffet and a swimming pool overlooking Downtown.
From the hotel’s lobby to Dubai Mall, it is a 12 minute walk over the passageway linking the metro station to the mall. So even during Dubai’s humid and hot summer you can still manage to get there without fainting or sweating bucketloads.
