Every time I go to Dubai I make sure to pass by Jumeirah’s Kite Beach. It is just a few blocks away from the famous Burj al Arab and Jumeirah Beach hotels. One of the last public beaches in the area, it has remained democratic and open to all despite its proximity to the luxury condos and expensive hotels. I like to watch the sunset there and take pictures with the hotel because it is so iconic it really makes me feel in Dubai. The water is almost always warm, so a dip in the waves can be a good way to finish your day. The Surf Café is nearby in case you get hungry.
