If I were to tell you to select one destination in all of Dubai where to look for excellent restaurants and shops I would definitely say City Walk. The lifestyle mall is a novelty in the Emirate as most of its space is outdoors, thus providing an area of socializing differently from the usual malls. Moreover, their mix of brands is second-to-none. In one location you can eat at Parisian Big Fernand Burger or a gourmet meal by Germany’s Tim Raue at Dragonfly. As for shops, expect nothing less than Barbara Bui, Carven, Rag and Bone, Lumas and Agent Provocateur. All in all, there is a French touch to the place with BHV Marais and Galeries Lafayette. Expect great views of the Burj Khalifa from many plazas and fountains. A genuinely enjoyable place to wander around.
