The One Aldwych is part of my life as I worked there for 18 months in 2000/2001 as Night Manager. The place is still impeccable and has one of London’s 5-star hotel’s best locations, in the lively Covent Garden area with 100 rooms, two restaurants (Axis and Indigo), a fabulous lobby bar, an in-house cinema and a gym, I still recommend it because I noticed they still keep the place looking fresh, with their impressive flower arrangements, the smiley staff and some very nice views from the suites.
If you are traveling with children, know they have special packages for families with kids and the Lion King musical plays in front of the hotel (they help you get tickets).
