London’s Luxury Hotels

When it comes to luxury accommodation, London has a staggering choice of both independently run and 5-star chains hotels. There have been many openings in the past 15 years, making the local scene quite vibrant and competitive. Some are “grande dames” that have remained solid contenders for best service for generations. Others arrived lately and took part of the market with a more contemporary look and feel.

I love these hotels even though I opt to stay either with friends or at lower-price range. However, that does not stop me from making a visit to the hotel’s bar or restaurant, to pamper myself with a nice dinner or a cocktail. Some even have amazing spas available for non-guests. When choosing one of them for a special stay, of course you have to take into consideration the location, the hotel’s size, its amenities and style. The most remarkable are:
