Eataly

200 5th Ave | Flatiron and a second store Downtown at Westfield World Trade Center

Daily from 9am to 11pm (Caffè Lavazza opens daily at 7am)

Eatly is a big Italian gourmet market that sells everything from coffee powder to espressos, trufles to pasta, cookbooks to pots and pans. The Flatiron shop is enormous and has several restaurants scatered around the market. It can get very busy during lunch and dinner time and I don’t really like to eat there because of the messy feel. However, it is a great place to buy ingredients or even a picknick hamper to enjoy on a sunny day at the Madison Square Park, right in front of Eataly. There is a busy calender of cooking courses that are worth participating at.
