New York could not live without its own incarnation of the all-famous Noma restaurant in Copenhagen. Therefore, Icelandic chef Gunnar Gíslason, who used to work in Reykjavik at his own Dill now cooks at the Grand Central Terminal in a piece of Scandinavia in Manhattan, from the menu to the design. Ingredients are seasonal and sourced from New York State region and cooked the Nordic way. The good point here is that the place is open from breakfast onwards, so you can indulge in beautiful pastries, sourdough and eggs.
