In our online shopping lives and Warby Parker dreams, Moscot remains a strong century old eyewear brand from the Lower East Side. Founded by Mr Muscot, a Belarusian immigrant, in 1915, it has kept the traditions of bespoke service and quality frames. The shop has also been famous for its creative window displays and nowadays it is a heritage brand, part of New York’s rich history of highs and lows. There are two other shops in NYC but this one, at Orchard and Houston is the one you have to visit.
