Instead of presenting sights and tourist spots, these guides go deeper, showcasing the whos, the whats and the hows of a place. Along its pages you get a sense for the feel of the place and it references history, literature, cinema, music and more. Brooklyn has its own guide since it is New York’s largest borough. Lots of trivia and illustrations to enjoy along the book. Highly recommended.
