Rua General Góis Monteiro, 34 | Botafogo | Fusion + Contemporary

Saturday from 8pm to 1am
Located in Botafogo, the charming colonial house used to be Chef Roberta Ciasca grandmother’s home. The retro decor, furnished with items from the 60’s and 70’s and exposed brick walls, set the cool-chic environment. The menu calls itself as “comfort food”, but the creative dishes have a French and contemporary touch. Highlights include the arugula stuffed roast beef rolls, duck breast with watercress risotto and basmati rice with pork ham chips. The award-winning cocktail listing boasts great options, like caipi du bois (vodka, cassis, blackberry and Sicilian lemon) or gueixa (Japanese liquor shochu, lychee, peach and basil). It is one of Rio’s best kept secrets.
