Caffè Sant’Eustachio

Piazza Sant’Eustachio 82 | Coffee

Daily from 8:30am to 1am (Friday until 1:30 am and Saturday until 2am)

There are hundreds of options for a coffee in Rome, but one of the most famous and typical is Caffè Sant’Eustacchio. It’s not a fancy or trendy café, but  a place where the coffee is very good! Better still, excellent. The little cafeteria focuses on serving a great variety of coffee. You stay in line, pay for what you want and with the receipt (scontrino) you head to the bar and elbow your way to a creamy espresso. Their sweets are also good. If you have a sweet tooth, try the marron glacé. In Summer there are tables outside where Romans and tourists mingle. Really worth a visit.
