Tokyo has over 1.300 independent bookshops but one of my favorites is Shibuya Publishing, in Kamiyama, near Fuglen, the deliciously Norwegian café. It is not a very big shop but their selection is second to none. Magazines, gifts, books and Tokyo guidebooks are waiting for you to take them home. What is nice at SPBS is that you feel more focused than on the amazingly large Tsutaya T-Site.
