Svenskt Tenn is Swedish design in overdrive with prints, lamps, crockery and furniture. A magical space where you will find the country’s most prominent interior designer’s works, present in the Swedish homes since 1924 when the art teacher Estrid Ericson started the brand. The prolific Josef Frank himself has left over 2.000 furniture sketches and 160 textile designs. For the first-time visitor, the colorful patterns may look un-Scandinavian but think of the dark winters and the gray colors of the outside world and how important it is to make one’s home a happy place. By the way, the store has a wonderful Svenkst Tenn Tea Room on the upper floor.
