South Africa’s Tashas just opened its first venture abroad, at the Galleria Mall in the heart of Jumeirah. The location is perfect, as the mall is quite intimate and Tashas has both outdoor and indoor seating. The menu is all encompassing, making it the ideal stop for either a cake & coffee or a full lunch. I had the steak tartare and the beetroot juice and just managed to resist ordering the succulent looking dates covered with white chocolate and pistachios. It is a breathtaking place indeed.
