The High Line Hotel offers a trip back in time. The landmark building, from 1895, has been refurbished but most of its style has been kept intact, so you have the feeling it has always been there in that very same way. A few meters from the High Line Park and the lively streets of the Meatpacking District, this hotel sets itself apart, like a grande dame. There are grand rooms (it was built as a seminary), vast public spaces and a cool vintage vibe, with Shinola Bicicles and an Intelligentsia Coffee Shop, makes it an interesting place.
